How do I connect my amp remote cable?
Question:
Hi,
I have an In Phase IPS 520MP head unit installed to my 2001 VW Golf MK4.
I need to connect a remote cable to my In Phase IPA1601 amp.
Where should I connect it? To my ingition fuse on the car? If so... how?
Or should I tap into the red ingition cable coming out of the head unit? If so... how?

there should be a blue cable coming from the back of your head unit. run this through the car to where your amp is and there should be a gold plated tab on the amp with a label 'remote' or something along those lines. the purpose of this cable is to tell the amp to power up with the head unit. hope this helped
